Gene Stimson’s Supermarkets Inc. is a family owned and operated business that has been in business for over 70 years. Gene Stimson Sr. opened his first store in Paragould, AR in 1948. In 1961 the Stimson family moved to Memphis, TN and opened grocery stores in Dixie Mart and Corondolet. In 1980 Gene Stimson Jr. joined the business and is now owner and operator of Stimson’s Big Stars in West Memphis, AR. Recently the third generation has also joined the company.

Stimson’s is a stockholder in one of the largest wholesale grocery companies and that enables us to have everyday low prices. We feature homegrown produce for better quality and better taste. We have experienced meat butchers that cut, wrap and package fresh meat daily. Our Bakery/Deli cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and we consider it one of the highlights of our stores. We also have the friendliest staff that is here to better serve you.
